1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using GuideYou, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use this service.
2. Service Description
GuideYou is a family-focused platform for building visual step-by-step guides and troubleshooting flows. The service includes guide creation, problem/solution mapping, asset management, and family collaboration. Access to core features may depend on an active family subscription.
3. Account Registration
- You can register with email/password or Google Sign-In.
- You must provide accurate account information.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and account activity.
4. Family Workspace and Roles
- GuideYou operates in family workspaces.
- Roles include ADMIN, EDITOR, and VIEWER with different permissions.
- One active subscription unlocks access for the entire family workspace.
5. Payments and Subscriptions
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
- Plans are purchased for the family workspace (not per individual user).
- Trials, renewals, and plan availability may change over time.
- Refunds, if any, are handled at our discretion unless required by law.
“Lifetime access” refers to access to the service for as long as the service remains available and operated by the Company. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, including terminating lifetime access offerings, without liability.
If the service is permanently discontinued, lifetime access will terminate. Refunds, if any, will be provided at the sole discretion of the Company unless otherwise required by applicable law.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, or abusive content.
- Attempt unauthorized access, service abuse, or disruption.
- Use automated methods to overload or exploit the platform.
- Share account access in a way that bypasses intended access controls.
7. User Content
- You retain ownership of your uploaded and created content.
- You grant GuideYou the rights needed to host, process, and display that content.
- You are responsible for ensuring your content complies with applicable laws.
8. Intellectual Property
GuideYou software, branding, interfaces, and underlying technology are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute the service except as permitted by law.
9. Service Availability
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, modify features, or temporarily suspend access for operational, security, or legal reasons.
10. Data and Privacy
Your use of GuideYou is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.
11. Communications
By registering, you agree to receive service-related emails (activation, account security, family invites, feedback notifications, billing, and critical product updates). You may opt out of non-essential messages.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GuideYou and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including data loss, business interruption, or third-party claims.
13. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, abuse, security risks, or legal compliance reasons. You may request account closure by contacting us.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Polish courts.
15. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms from time to time. Material updates may be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the updated terms.
